Safety Essentials
Check Weather
Review forecasts before you travel. Avoid exposed ridges and river crossings during storms or heavy rain.
Stay on Trails
Stick to marked routes to protect nature and reduce injury risk. If in doubt, ask your guide before deviating.
Hydrate & Fuel
Carry 1–2L water (more for hot days). Bring light snacks to keep energy steady.
Be Prepared
Bring a basic first-aid kit and personal medication. Tell someone your plan and expected return time.
What to Carry
- Good shoes (trail/running shoes or boots)
- Water (1–2L), light snacks
- Hat, sunscreen, rain jacket (weather changes fast)
- Warm layer for windy ridges
- Charged phone + power bank
- ID and some cash/mobile money
- Small backpack
- Any prescribed medication
